At only 365 days old, 2010 died while giving birth to 2011. There are many things that can be said about 2010. She made us laugh, she made us cry, but she also laughed and cried with us. She took many things from us, but she also gave generously. She was always bringing things to people. whether it be happy memories or heart ache. Yes, 2010 was very generous. Not one day went by that she did not give. She brought my family hard times, and bonding times, scary times and carefree times. Out of all the things that she gave, I most appreciate the days she gave. Every day that she had, she gave away. All 365. 2010 was also a great teacher. She taught many. She taught us to care for others, love, enjoy the moments, grow up, and countless other lessons. 2010 is survived by many who both loved and hated her. Some were sad to see her go, but most were to distracted, counting down the seconds till 2011 was born. May we, as her benefactors, remember all she gave us and act on the lessons she taught us, otherwise we will not remember or learn anything from 2011 either.
